Me with Jalal Nuriddin (Last Poets)

Pretty sure this pic with Jalal Nuriddin of the Last Poets is taken around 86 or 87... he'd just landed in London and was heading into town from Heathrow - the cab driver happened to have Radio London on whilst I was presenting the Mad on Jazz show... and guess what track I was playing? 'It's a Trip' from the iconic Delights of the Garden album!! Imagine that... so he stops the cabbie - hits a phone box and somehow gets through to BBC switchboard who tell him to go to 35 Marylebone High Street where he stood waiting for someone to let him in!! And then I interviewed him - LIVE - we became friends and the rest is documented on numerous projects I recorded where he featured.
