Future Bubblers is more than just a compilation — it’s Gilles Peterson’s UK-wide talent discovery & development platform, built to uplift artists and industry voices who are pushing musical boundaries. Supported by Brownswood and partners like PRS Foundation and Arts Council England, Future Bubblers gives emerging acts and behind-the-scenes talent the tools, space, and support to grow at their own pace. 

Rooted in genre-blurring, left-field innovation, the programme reaches beyond London — championing creatives from all corners, and giving voice to styles too often overlooked. Whether it’s alt-R&B, experimental electronic, jazz, rap, trip hop, or somewhere in between, Future Bubblers is where originality is nurtured.

Each year, selected “Bubblers” are paired with mentors, receive workshops, recording sessions, showcases, and often end up on the annual compilation. These releases aren’t just for exposure — artists share in the profits, helping build sustainable careers.

Now entering its tenth year, Future Bubblers continues to be a launchpad for new voices, a bridge for regional talent into the wider music ecosystem, and a proving ground for those who make brave, original, boundary-pushing music.
